Japanese Chorus

$225.00

El Marino Japanese Chorus was founded in the Fall of 2019 to give all students a fun and moving musical experience by singing together and achieving a goal together. Our goals are to cultivate the full potential within each child, introduce beautiful and fun Japanese songs, and build each student’s skills and confidence through encouraging and creative rehearsals and performances. It is an excellent opportunity to learn Japanese. No Japanese speaking ability necessary.

Director: Aiko Fukushima (Tokyo Gakugei University – Music Education; Berklee College of Music – Film & Jazz Composition)
Accompanist:
Kae M Black

Open to all Current and Former El Marino students – 2nd grade and up.

New students: Please email elmarinojapanesechorus@gmail.com to join for tryouts at the beginning of the term. You may register here after tryouts. Note there is no guarantee of availability, as classes have limited capacity and are enrolled on a rolling basis.
