Ballet Folklorico (Closed for Spring)
The ballet folklorico class will teach the beautiful traditional dances of various parts of Mexico. Dancing folklorico is fun and the priority will be to make sure our dancers are having fun and learning during our time together. Our dancers will learn the basic foot work and, most importantly, the skirt work. Dancers will receive a flyer on the first day of class outlining what they will need for the class.
This class is taught by Celeste Arredondo, the ballet folklorico instructor at El Marino. She has been dancing folklorico for a decade and believes that it is the best thing she has ever done.
Students must be in 2nd-5th grade. Dresses will be provided for practice and performances.
Note: new students are welcome to trial 1 class before committing; registration form must be completed before trial
SPRING TERM REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
Outstanding Winter/Spring term balances (enrolled in January) may be paid HERE.
TIME: Fridays, 4pm-5pm
